Buildings make up entire cities, and hundreds of new cities are being built around the world. Many old buildings pose sustainability challenges with its limited consideration for green design, energy efficiency and low carbon emissions. We come in to help create sustainable buildings and cities that are made to last.
There is a vision for all new buildings to be net zero carbon by year 2030. 90% of our time are spent indoors, and buildings account for 39% of the world’s carbon emissions. The way forward is to make buildings self-sustainable – making them more energy-efficient, reducing their carbon footprint, and reducing their consumption of natural resources.
Through our advocacy for sustainability, we’ve banded cross continental government institutions and like-minded organizations together with the mission of building climate resilience through economic partnership.
Since 2014, we have been forming alliances with the shared purpose of sustainable growth through collaborative projects to scale economic diversity.
The TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) Zero Waste certification helps projects define, pursue and achieve their zero waste goals, cutting their carbon footprint and supporting public health. It is an assessor-based program administered by Green Business Certificaiton Inc. (GBCI) and rates how well facilities perform in minimizing their non-hazardous, solid wastes and maximizing their efficiency in the use of resources. TRUE-certified spaces are environmentally responsible and achieve a minimum of 90 % waste diversion.
