2021 has proven yet to be another challenging year, but it has been a long and rewarding time for us. From strengthening our commitment to the environment to green advocacy, GreenA Consultants have had an incredibly eventful year. We launched meaningful projects with clients who are eager to integrate sustainability into their business operations and for that, we would like to express a deep sense of gratitude to thank all our clients for inviting us on their path towards going green.
Here are some highlights of our 2021 Key Projects:
- DBS Net-Zero Energy Building
In a push to achieve decarbonisation, DBS Bank is now part of the United Nations’ Net Zero Banking Alliance, an industry-led alliance committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. As a pivotal strategic partner, we introduced System Integrator for technologies in their existing four-story office building at Newton, as part of the BCA’s Green Building Innovation Cluster (GBIC) fund.
- IKEA Distribution Centre, Port Klang, Malaysia
Beyond just cutting energy consumption, we raised the bar on what it means to be a green building. In a Malaysia port town, the largest footprint warehouse project in Southeast Asia pursues the ambitious goal of achieving the highest points awarded for green building certification level – LEED v4 BD+C (WDC) Gold Certification.
- Punggol Point Crown, Super Low Energy Building
As the fifth waterfront district in Punggol, Punggol Point Crown is one of the first Super Low Energy Building (SLEB) HDB blocks in Singapore.
GreenA Consultants is proud to serve as the Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) Consultant, in providing low heat gain facade to cool temperature level and reduce energy consumption level. This project is also the inaugural BCA Green Mark GoldPlus SLEB Award holder for Residential Building.
As we look forward to 2022, the GreenA Consultants team is filled with excitement and hope to deepen our strategic partnership towards achieving sustainability.
