As an Advancing Net Zero collaborator of the World Green Building Council (WGBC), GreenA Consultants is honoured to speak at the SGBC Information Session on the Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment. In this session, GreenA Consultants shared on our experiences in addressing decarbonisation challenges in the built environment. Over the past two years, our team has championed the integration of Net Zero carbon building commitments within the local context, aligning Singaporean buildings with global sustainability standards. By reconstructing and optimizing the commitment framework in collaboration with SGBC, we have ensured that our projects lead in all aspects of decarbonization. This proactive approach not only prepares Singapore’s buildings for the future but also sets a benchmark for sustainable development globally.

There are so many sustainability commitments and pledges even more so post COP 28.
As WGBC Net zero collaborator over the 2 years my role is to show ‘how’ to change mindset. We often hear inspiring talks about changing mindset however the ‘how’ is silent.
Singapore buildings are ready to embrace and walk the talk of the WGBC NZ carbon building commitment.
Addressing this in the first call of WGBC NZ engagement with SGBC, I reconstructed the flow of the commitment to show that our buildings in spore are indeed ahead and align in all the aspects of the commitment.
