A Singapore Perspective: Carbon Goals for the Built Environment

Given the increasing environmental challenges we are facing globally, the importance of reducing carbon emissions towards zero carbon cannot be understated. But going zero goes beyond just galvanising a nationwide effort to embark on sustainability, defining what is considered as “zero” itself is a challenge. Different stakeholders have varying definitions of what is considered as going “zero” and is often a commonly misunderstood phrase.
